Experience
Mr. Yurus joined MR&D in May of 2008 as an intern and accepted a full-time position as a Research Engineer after graduating in May of 2009. Since joining MR&D, Dan has been involved with the design of 3D woven preforms for use in glass/epoxy composites for ballistic impact protection and in the design of 3D woven preforms for ceramic matrix composites used in thermal protection system and propulsion material applications of hypersonic vehicles.
