Experience
Mr. Dion joined MR&D in June 2005. His first work involved development of a C/SiC Deployable Hot Structure Decelerator along with Snecma Propulsion Solide and NASA Langley Research Center. Since then, he has actively been involved with the design and analysis of rocket nozzles made from refractory metals for the Navy. Currently, he is working on CMC Life Prediction Methods for the JSF afterburner flaps. He is also developing micromechanical finite element models to predict material properties.
